I stayed in Cedar Lodge VIP furthest on one side, lovely woodland to watch the squirrels whilst in hot tub, (take your dressing gown and slippers cause you are not going to want to get dressed and go out). A well equipped kitchen, even whisks and foil included, and we had a nice meal in Black Lion in Ellesmere tiself. My sat nav took me straight into the parks drive so we had no problems finding it! Thanks for a lovely holiday!

The lodge was finished to a high standard, warm and comfortable, with great furnishings and kitchen utensils etc. Very comfortable beds with nice, clean bed linen. Location was very peaceful, out of the way and a great place to escape to. Hot tub was a nice touch and great to relax and 'chill out' in.

A pretty approach next to a working farm, which visitors are welcome to visit. Only just opened when myself, husband and 2 boys (4 &5) went. Lodges stunning inside and out. Layout very good for our family. A welcome cake, milk and bread was very nice. Hot tub was amazing and had plenty of use! We are planning to return as so much to do nearby. Overall the whole family had a fab time!

Just want to say have had lovely and peaceful holiday at this location, it is not the best for eating out but we had a brilliant time ages in group from 4months to 73yrs. We really loved the welcome homemade cake that was waiting for us on arrival and we the most of the hot tub even in mid november there is a varied amount of wild life we saw owls & squirrels. My 4 yr old great grandaughter had a brill time collecting acorns and leaves and talking to the cows on the neighbouring farm, all in all we have had a brill few days thank you.

Woodland Park is an ideal setting if you require a relaxing and peaceful break. The hot tub was amazing and instantly relaxed us ready to enjoy the rest of our stay. Our lodge provided all the comforts of home and more. We will definitely be booking at this park again. Ellesmere is a great base for many activities young and old from country walks to water sports and zoos. Highly recommended.
