My husband, myself and our 23 month old son spent four days in one of the lodges in July, and it was fantastic. The lodge was really beautifully done and very clean, the on-site facilities were great, and the shower block had a washer and dryer which was very helpful for a sometimes messy todder! The shop had a good selection of groceries, and the owners were very helpful and trusting regarding next day payment if you didn't have your purse handy. The tea room was lovely and we enjoyed our cooked breakfast and cream tea. The grounds were nice to walk around and the small animal corner and garden centre were both a delight to our son. Lyme Regis is only a 15 minute drive away with a nice beach. The owners were very friendly and we will definitely be returning, hopefully soon! |

On arrival at the park we where greeted by the friendly owners. The accommodation was outstanding, very clean and fitted with all that you would require for your holiday. There are facilities on site such as a small shop incase you have forgotten something, and the owners were polite, happy and always approachable, helping us with such questions as to which beach we could visit to find fossils for our son. They also helped with local information and tips on eating out and places to visit. We will be returning to the park hopefully in 2011, as it is idealy placed for East Devon, West Dorset and Somerset. Also I would like to mention a pub we went to called "The Hunters Lodge" near Lyme Regis, just 9 miles away from the park - excellent food and service, and not just an ordinary pub. Try to get in there early as they fill up quickly, I would highly recommend their fresh local fish dishes, also the lasagne. They are more than happy to cater for children, and our 5 year old loved it there with their happy and cheerful staff. On a whole the holiday was a perfect getaway for our family, and the park was idealy placed for all beaches and shops, I would highly recommend it. |

The welcome we received was very friendly, we arrived early but called in to the site just to see where it was and to see if the accommodation was ready. We were greeted with a complimentary pot of tea and coffee in the tea rooms and taken to our accommodation when it was ready. The accommodation was lovely and comfortable and of a very high standard. Tea, coffee and milk were already provided in the fridge. The site was clean and well maintained and very peaceful we would definitely go back again. |

We have taken many short breaks in various locations and this one exceeded our expectations. The accommodation was excellent with many small touches like the child's quilt cover tailored for a boy or girl, the DVD player in the child's bedroom, milk in the fridge on arrival and the exceptionally warm welcome by the owners. The farm was a short drive from the coast and was located in a very peaceful area. The grounds were attractive and safe for young children to play. There was a pets corner, tea rooms and farm shop with local produce. I would recommend this holiday and would certainly stay there again. |
