Very well equipped incl the bedroom TV. Down side was a constant smell of drains in bedrooms and en-suite. |

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at these lodges. Set in a great location with loads of things to do locally. Very welcoming on arrival. Very clean. Loved the hot tubs overlooking the lake and the log fire. Would recommend Drusilla?s Inn for eating out- its around a 10-15 minute drive but the service was excellent and the food was perfectly cooked. Will hopefully come back one day soon. |

We have just spent 4 days in the Wimborne Lodge. We were made to feel very welcome on a very rainy October evening and were pleased to see that what was in the brochure was a reality in the lodge. The lodge was spotlessly clean and had lots of homely extras such as flowers, a fantastic apple cake and a fresh loaf of bread with butter and jam. The owner and his family could not be more helpful and were always available for help and advice. The hot tub was fabulous and it was reassuring that regular checks throughout the day were made on the cleanliness of the tub. The lodge was lovely and the wood burning stove made it feel very cosy. We loved it there so much we have already booked our next break there! |
