The local Area around Ivyleaf Combe Lodges
Surfers flock to catch the waves all along the coast from Sennen to Newquay and Bude, and while Gwithian Beach offers the best kite and windsurfing in the country, there are also miles of clean, sandy beaches and lively resorts perfect for family days out - yours to enjoy when you book Hoseasons lodge holidays in North Cornwall. The spectacular coastline is great for walking too. The Camel Trail, a disused railway line following the River Camel between Bodmin and Padstow, is now a superb walking and cycling path, and inland you'll find a glorious landscape of hidden valleys and sweeping moorland dotted with ancient stone circles and steeped in legend. A visit to King Arthur's castle at Tintagel is a must, and artists have long been lured to the picturesque town of St Ives, for its special quality of light and the loveliness of its coastal setting. |

This park was excellent for both parents and children. We could sit in the hot tub on the decking area whilst watching our children in the play area. Their field was large enough for children to run around on without causing nuisance for other park users. The location was very central for beaches, had excellent standards and it was so peaceful in the evening to sit on the decking area or in hot tub and watch the sun go down with no noise from roads or from the village - it was so fab we have rebooked a return visit! |

The location was excellent, far enough away from the town to enjoy the peaceful countryside, but near enough to travel to by car in 5 minutes. The chalet was very tastefully decorated and the hot tub was so relaxing we couldn't keep out. I would most definitely reccommend this holiday for a romantic break! |
