Information

Indio Lake offers the following: Holiday Park Lodges for hire, ideal for any holiday at Indio Lake.

Dartmoor's always been a playground for those of you who love to be outdoors and it could have been made for family holidays. Indio Lake sits on the edge of the national park and makes it easy to indulge in a little luxury while you spend time with the people that count.
The development's home to a collection of just 12 impressive lakeside lodges, so each one benefits from the feeling of total seclusion. Indio Lake sits surrounded by fields and set close to a sun-dappled area of woodland and that not only means that the views from each lodge are gorgeous but also that they change with the seasons.

Better yet, if you time your stay for the right time of year you'll find the 3 acre lake dotted with splashes of colour as water lilies bloom and the fiery colours of the woodland peer into the water.
What's a busy day enjoying the fun to be had on Dartmoor without somewhere just as spectacular to return to at the end of it? The contemporary lodges at Indio Lake include floor to ceiling windows that flood them with natural light (not to mention stunning views), decked areas for soaking up the sun and contemporary designs that make them perfect for those of you who prefer to retreat in style.

The lodge that we stayed in was in a lovely location next to the lake and backing onto the woodland. The staff were very friendly and gave us a lovely welcome, as did the wildlife!!! We were greeted every morning at the front door by the two of the parks ducks and a goose who wanted their breakfast from us! The location was also lovely with only a short drive into Bovey Tracey, I would definitely recommend the Indian restaurant "Spice Bazaar" which served delicious food. Perfect scenery and very romantic - we loved every minute of our holiday. A perfect holiday for couples and anyone wanting to relax and unwind.

I would recommend this holiday to anyone who wants a beautiful, relaxing holiday with lots to do nearby. The beach isn't far and Penny Well farm isn't a long drive away so you can visit the mini pigs. The park itself is beautiful with some very friendly wildlife to keep you entertained. The hot tub was excellent and the house itself was immaculately presented and more than comfortable. The people who look after the park were incredibly friendly and helpful and the setting was very peaceful.
