The local Area around Hendra Holiday Park
A famously mild climate, gorgeous beaches, picturesque villages and top attractions - enjoy them all when you stay in Cornwall. It’s all about the sea in the far South West.Ranging from the wide sweep of Whitsand Bay to tiny hidden coves reached by winding tracks, the beaches of South Cornwall are as perfect for lazy summer days as for invigorating winter walking. And there’s a great range of water sports on offer too. Venture inland and you’ll find an array of enticing attractions in Cornwall. The Eden Project, where giant transparent domes recreate different climate conditions, and the Lost Gardens of Heligan promise fascinating days out, and there’s plenty of thrills at Flambards and Dobwalls theme parks. Sea angling trips and boat rides from charming fishing villages like St Mawes, Mevagissey, Looe and Polperro attract many visitors staying in Cornwall, and Fowey is a firm favourite with the sailing community. The cathedral city of Truro and historic Penzance are both well worth a visit. |

I was really looking forward to this holiday but I was very disappointed!! Last year I stayed at Sandybay but I was told that Hendra was the best 1 to visit, that's the last time I listen to others. Paid for linen and then still had to make beds when I arrived (never had 2 do this before) had to pay extra to use pool. I was also very disappointed with the facilities not enough to keep kids amused in my book. Definitely wont be visiting again. Next year Sandybay here we come!!!!! On the positive side I did enjoy Tuesday nites show of the wizard of oz that was my highlight! |

Hendra Holiday Park was our first UK holiday, we have been to various destinations abroad but the kids said it was the best holiday they have ever had, so we shall definitely return to Hendra! |

A well kept park, possibly the best I've seen - the location is superb and it has good facilities. The swimming was excellent, a bonus for caravaners is that you could get in at 9am before doors opened at 10am to the public. We were all impressed with the park and professional staff. |

I would certainly recommend going to Hendra Holiday Park in Newquay. I went with my husband and 3 children and we found the park to be spotless and very friendly. The caravan was immaculate, there was plenty to do come rain or shine and the children loved the oasis pool. |

The Hendra Holiday Park is great for families. There is plenty of entertainment to keep the children occupied on a rainy day and the near by beaches are fantastic when its sunny. The outdoor pool is great if you don't fancy the short car journey to a beach. Morrisons supermarket is only a mile away to buy all your essentials or you can use the on site shop which sells wetsuits, camping items, toys, food, sweets, drinks and papers. We have already recommended the park to many friends and using Hoseasons to book gives the additional advantage of free bed linen. |
