Darwin Forest in the heart of the Peak District is the perfect woodland setting for you to relax enjoy your holiday and leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind.

This David Bellamy Gold Award winning park is situated in a peaceful location between Matlock and Bakewell in the Derbyshire Dales and only 5 miles from Chatsworth House. This is an ideal spot from which to explore the moors dales and picturesque villages and towns of the Peak District one of the most popular National Parks in the world.

The Evolution Leisure Centre includes a large indoor swimming pool gym spa steam room and sauna as well as massage and beauty therapy facilities.

Your fully insulated pine lodge is warm and snug in winter cool in the heat of summer and discreetly positioned within the beautiful woodland setting.

    Darwin Forest Country Park is excellent value for money and it is a really child friendly park. As well as the soft play area for under fives, my two year old son really enjoyed the swimming pool and the freedom to wander around the park safely. I loved the holiday and would definitely visit for a third time!

    Great location for visiting the surrounding area. The leisure complex was very clean at whatever time of day and the lodge was very nice. Lovely on site pub with nice meals - we would use this park again in the future.

    The park had everything needed for a most enjoyable holiday. The lodges were very comfortable, and the layout of the park meant they were quite private. Also the park is well located for touring the local area!

    We had a wonderful time at Darwin Forest Country Park - first impressions driving into the park and at reception were then confirmed by the quality of the lodges and the facilities!
