Home to an abundance of flora and fauna, you'll discover a magical place just waiting to be explored, either on foot or on bike.Located 7 miles from Pickering and within easy reach of York, this idyllic retreat provides an ideal location for short breaks and family holidays at any time of the year.

    Fantastic rock formations, flower rich meadows, open moorland and lush valleys threaded with tumbling rivers. The landscape that inspired the Bronte sisters is classic walking country, crossed by the Pennine Way, and featuring spectacular waterfalls and dramatic geological formations like the famous Brimham Rocks and Malham Cove, whose 300 ft high cliff walls are truly awe-inspiring. Be sure to visit them when you enjoy a holiday in the Yorkshire Dales.

    Fantastic location, fantastic staff, fantastic cabins. A lovely relaxing weekend away in the forest, what better way to spend Valentines Weekend with the Mrs!

    Excellent location, friendly staff and lodges are furnished very well. Lots of forest walks, lots of things for the kids to do - bike rides, walks, feeding the animals.

    This holiday park is lovely, a perfect retreat and we can't wait to book again. The hot tub sold it for us and I think this trip will be a yearly event.

    A very relaxed atmosphere, facilities good for campers, the local shop cooked home made bread each morning this was an excellent touch to know each morning your bread was ready waiting for you!!
