This is a superb walking area a dramatic landscape of limestone gorges and glacial lakes and the spectacular scenery of Malham Cove and Ingleton Waterfalls lies under 15 miles away as does Skipton with its historic castle and nearby steam railway. Ripon Harrogate and the Lake District are all under an hour's drive. Pub 1 mile shop 2 miles with more extensive shopping in Settle 6 miles.
