Holiday Park Caravans for hire, ideal for any holiday at Bockenfield Country Park.
Bockenfield Country Park is nestled between the breathtaking northeast coastline and spectacular Northumberland National Park, in a rural countryside setting bordered by ancient woodland. The park is a haven for many species of wildlife, flora and fauna.
These holiday homes are nestled in a beautiful setting, overlooking a fresh bubbling stream which runs through the park and are perfect for a comfortable and relaxing break at any time of the year.
The stunning coastline offers miles of golden uncrowded sandy beaches and there are more castles in this area than anywhere else in the country, including Alnwick Castle and Gardens, the majestic setting for the Harry Potter films which is a great day out for all the family. Just 500m away from the park is the PGA golf course at Burgham Park.

The local Area around Bockenfield Country Park
Relax and unwind in one of the most peaceful areas of the country when you stay in Northumberland. Walkers and beachcombers revel in the dramatic clifftop paths and long, sweeping sands of the coast, and the Northumberland National Park and Cheviot Hills are a nature lovers’ paradise, while water sports enthusiasts of all kinds flock to the vast expanses of Kielder Water. It’s certainly tranquil now, but the impressive castles and peel towers you’ll find within easy reach in Northumberland speak of the county’s turbulent history. Alnwick Castle, famously doubling as Hogwarts School in the Harry Potter films, is particularly well preserved and also boasts some spectacular water gardens. Make time to explore Berwick’s magnificent town walls, built in the first Elizabethan era, and if you cross the causeway to visit Holy Island’s heritage centre you can, thanks to computer wizardry, 'turn the pages’ of the beautifully illuminated Lindisfarne Gospels. Constructed by the Romans and now almost 2000 years old, Hadrian’s Wall is still standing - surely a must see when enjoying a holiday in Northumberland. And when you’ve relaxed enough, head to Newcastle and Gateshead’s Metro Centre for buzzing nightlife and great shopping. |

This is our second holiday with Hoseasons and each time the accommodation has been exceptional. The staff have always put themselves out. With the value for money, we can afford more weekends away and time away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. |
