Spectacularly lovely countryside, fascinating industrial heritage, stately homes, top family attractions and huge variety of exciting leisure activities - discover all this and more when you stay at one of our holiday parks in Derbyshire. For many, the Peak District in the north of the county is the greatest draw, but you’ll find other wonderful attractions within easy reach of our holiday parks. Derbyshire’s lovely landscape is the setting for some of England’s finest historic buildings - magnificent Chatsworth House and Gardens, evocative Calke Abbey and the Robert Adam interiors at Kedleston Hall are all 'must sees’ as is the site of Britain’s first factory, still home to Royal Crown Derby Porcelain. The famous racetrack and museum at Castle Donnington are also firm favourites with many visitors who enjoy caravan holidays in Derbyshire.

The Kingfisher Lodge was a welcome sight, from outside it looked lovely and inside was beautiful, furnished to the highest standards. The lodge was very clean and well presented, 2 adults, 2 children and 2 grandparents and still lots of space. This was a real home from home.

Our lodge was in a very tranquil location and in the morning you could see rabbits ducks and chickens just outside. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The accommodation was really spacious with everything we needed. We will definitely be going back.

Brilliant location, plenty for a large family to do, within walking distance of Elvaston castle and gardens which were beautiful. The lodge that we stayed in was lovely, really clean and the kids thought it was great, plenty of room and everything we needed to have a fab extended weekend break, would definitely go again and would recommend to friends and family.

The park is in a wonderful area, and it is next to a large country park - we all had a great time will be back!

The park was very nice and quiet, exactly what we wanted for a long weekend break. It is located just outside a very nice village and close enough to many larger towns and Derby, which meant you did not have to travel far for anything. The lodge was fantastic - very clean, tidy and comfortable. We would recommend it to anyone thinking of staying there, and would love to stay there again in the future. (We had great fun watching all the rabbits play in the evenings)!
