Rookley Country Park is a great base for exploring the many delights that the Isle of Wight has to offer. As the Island is not huge its possible to explore many of the wonderful attractions and locations around the Island in just a few days. This 5 star park in the heart of the stunning island is set in 23 acres of beautiful landscaped grounds.

Situated in 23 acres of beautiful landscaped grounds in the heart of this stunning island, Rookley offers a great base for exploring the many delights the Isle of Wight has to offer.There are two well-stocked fishing lakes offering quality angling for both experts and beginners.The Lakes Rookley's Lakeside restaurant provides the ideal venue for enjoying a meal, before settling down in the Midnight bar to take in the live entertainment on offer every evening, which guarantees that the fun will last late into the night. The accommodation enjoys an attractive setting within lawned grounds which boast an abundance of flora, fauna and wildlife, yet the main facilities are all close at hand - including indoor and outdoor pools.The Lakes Rookley offers a choice of two and three bedroom caravans and luxury two bedroom bungalows.

    Taking a break in the Isle of Wight is the perfect way to enjoy this beautiful island's family friendly resorts, lovely safe beaches and exciting leisure facilities. And the Blackgang Chine Fantasy Park or breathtaking chairlift rides at Needles Park offer plenty of adrenaline boosting fun.Explore the island's amazing prehistoric legacy at the Dinosaur Farm and Dinosaur Isle Museum or search out living wildlife at the zoo and at Parkhurst Forest, one of the few remaining habitats of the British red squirrel. There's lovely coastal and country walking and cycling too - the more energetic might like to follow the round island route.

    the holiday park is centeral to most places, it is clean & tidy & well maintained ,the staff are freindly & very polite all in all a great relaxing holiday . thankyou for making our stay a pleasure exellent highly recomended thankyou once again

    We have been using caravans since 2002 and this was one of the best yet!

    The park has very good amenities, is very clean and the staff are very friendly. I last went to this park 4 years ago and have noticed a big improvement. I will go back again but will not leave it so long till the next visit!

    Nice clean site, accommodation was excellent (premium) had freeview box and also a proper freezer in the kitchen. Ideal for a lovely evening walk round the site and also a supermarket within walking distance of the site .

    It is very central to the Island, and therefore surrounded by beautiful countryside and a lovely friendly pub (The Chequers Inn) a must if you stay nearby!

    The park was very pretty and quiet with lovely fishing lakes, not that I am into fishing, but it was lovely all the same.
