Conveniently located to visit many interesting places. Situated adjacent to a bus stop offering regular services to Hereford and the Tudor Market town of Leominster and Ludlow. Fishing nearby on the River Lugg and the Wye.
Roadways have been laid in the camping fields.There are now 16 hard standings 8 are 45 feet long and will accomodate car and caravan or those long Campervans. All have electric hook-ups and water nearbye. A washing machine,dryer,fridge and microwave are available also free wireless broadband.
Situated adjacent to a public footpath for walking.
Just half a mile to the village is a post office/stores and fish and chip shop which has been voted best in Hereford.
Phone for a Chinese Takeaway or Pizza delivered to your pitch.
HARD-STANDING AND ELECTRIC HOOK-UP AS STANDARD
A small friendly site with fifteen hard-standings and fifteen electric hook-ups. A level site with very easy access direct from the A49.
With very easy access and located 3 miles north of Hereford on the A49. Adjacent to a bus stop and close to post office/stores and a fish and chip shop which has been voted “Best in Hereford” . Or phone for a Chinese takeaway or Pizza delivered direct to your caravan.

Accommodation and facilities |
The camp site has free hot showers and toilets. There are washing up facilities, a washing machine and dryer (takes one pound coins) with clothes drying area..
Many of the pitches have an adjacent water tap.
All water on the site is ‘Drinking Water’.
Broadband
Most of the pitches have the benefit of free internet access. Signal strength depends on the placing and orientation of your laptop. Newer models perform best. The reading room is a wifi hotspot.
DVD and Books Library
DVD’s and Books are available free to borrow.
Dogs
Well behaved dogs are welcome, however they must be kept on a leash on the campsite.
Footpath
At the end of the private road is a public footpath, ideal for dog walking. Wellington boots are advisable!

Timetables are available for the bus service.

Please note that your Sat-nav will not bring you straight to the campsite but just nearbye on the A49. The campsite is accessed directly from the A49. You will need to follow these directions:
From Hereford
Slow down at Moreton-on-Lugg sign
Take second turning on the left (The fish and chip sign is in our front field)
From Leominster
Slow down at Moreton-on-Lugg sign
Watch for Highways brown camping sign.
Take first (non gated) turning on the right. The turning is directly in front of the pedestrian crossing island.

Nearest pubs which serve food are the Wellington Arms (Michelin Guide & numerous awards … really good food!...also bar meals.) and The Bell Inn at Tillington. (Very good!) There are numerous eating places in and around the City of Hereford. |
